André has been a staff writer with the paper since 1987.

He is also the author of six books, including "Neglected No More: The Urgent Need To Improve the Life of Canada's Elders", which will be published in March.

If you're looking for something different for a Rotary presentation, a great option is the #RotaryResponds conversation between John Hewko and ShelterBox CEO, Sanj Sriknathan. The video is 20 minutes long, so it is perfect presentation length.
The COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrations of solidarity against racism denounce global inequalities and the need for social justice. Even more important that Rotary is an organization that embraces all cultures, experiences and identities. This small-group session provides an opportunity to hear from Rotarians at the forefront of change, learn about Rotary's progress in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and equip yourself with tools to create a more diverse, inclusive and equitable organization.
