Canadian Lockbox Address Change

Rotary and its banking partner are always looking for ways to improve the processing times for Canadian contributions. Rotary’s banking partner will be changing how it manages it’s lockbox that will result in faster processing times, improved data quality, and lower costs for our Foundation. As part of this change, a new lockbox address will go into effect on 23 May 2012. 

Please know that Rotary is working very closely with the bank to secure a swift and easy transition which includes a commitment to forward all contributions sent to the “old” lockbox address to the “new” one through January 2013. This will ensure that both the Rotary year-end contributions as well as tax year-end contributions are sent to the appropriate location and permits sufficient time to communicate the change in address.

The new address will be updated in all publications coming from Rotary, and an insert with the updated address will be sent with all tax receipts to Canadian donors for the next six months.

TRF is working closely with TRF Canada leaders to ensure that the change is communicated broadly and all necessary publications are updated. The Rotary Foundation Contribution Form (123) has been updated and is posted to www.rotary.org, with other forms to follow.
