Given the challenges over the past year, in 2021 the Bridgenorth-Ennismore-Lakefield club (BEL) have come up with a Plan B and will be holding the "Pandemic Plunge" over the first seven days of February.

The tradition of the BEL Rotary Polar Plunge will continue, but with a twist.

Senior Canadian Rotary Leaders take the plunge for Foundation. Read the story > here.

With respect to the county health regulations and with the concern for the health and safely of all, they will not be gathering by the shores of Chemong Lake.  Plungers will “plunge, frolic or splash” in a kiddie pool in their own yard, make a snow angel or pour a bucket of ice water over their body in an attempt to emulate the polar plunge.  Plungers will then take a video and send it to BEL Rotary to be included on their social media platforms.
