Indigenous Focus Project - Water First Update
I am thrilled to announce that our District Water First project was the recipient of a $10,000 donation from a Sudbury radio contest organized by Rotarian Mick Weaver and the Stingray radio stations in September. Thanks to all of our members who participated by going on-line to vote for our project.
Also, thanks to the support of the Sudbury’s Rotarians Gerry and Geoffrey Lougheed their Lougheed Foundation has matched with an additional $10,000 donation. These donations bring our total amount received to $48,000 of our $125,000 goal. Thanks to our Sudbury Sunrisers club and all other clubs in the District who have supported this worthwhile project.
